Alexandre del Valle fut précurseur en évoquant dès 1997 le totalitarisme islamiste et en annonçant la dérive de la Turquie néo-ottomane. Trente ans après la dissolution de l'ex-URSS, il montre que les pays de l'OTAN n'ont pas toujours changé leurs "logiciels" hérités de la Guerre froide, désignant la Russie comme l'Ennemi suprême. A cette erreur sur l'Ennemi correspond une erreur sur l'Ami, l'Occident demeurant allié aux "pôles de l'islamisme sunnite" (Arabie saoudite, Qatar, Koweit, Pakistan, Turquie, OCI, Frères musulmans) qui oeuvrent, dans le cadre d'un projet d'expansion planétaire, à saper de l'intérieur les valeurs des sociétés ouvertes sous couvert de défense de la religion.
Del Valle dresse un bilan des "révolutions de couleurs" appuyées par nombre d'ONG américaines en Europe de l'Est et les relie à l'interventionnisme occidental en Irak ou en Libye puis au printemps arabe, devenu "hiver islamiste" . Il dévoile de façon détaillée les stratégies et buts de guerre des islamistes, qu'il s'agisse des pôles " institutionnels " et étatiques, véritables ennemis, ou des djihadistes, simple face immergée de l'iceberg.
Après avoir exposé leur double matrice théocratique et totalitaire, l'auteur démontre que pour résister à cette offensive bien plus planifiée et massive qu'on l'imagine, l'Occident doit de toute urgence définir la Menace et l'Ennemi dans leur globalité puis revoir totalement ses alliances et visions stratégiques. L'enjeu n'est autre que de préserver les valeurs des sociétés ouvertes sans renier leurs racines civilisationnelles.
La priorité est de les défendre chez nous avant de donner des leçons de droits de l'homme ou de démocratie au reste du monde

Manual de mapas conceptuales es una excelente obra, concisa, actualizada y didáctica que facilita el aprendizaje al ofrecer conocimientos de manera ordenada, utilizando mapas conceptuales como herramienta de estudio. En los primeros capítulos se tratan los conceptos generales de la fisiopatología, incluyendo la problemática general de las células y los tejidos al ser agredidos o dejar de funcionar; en los siguientes se muestran los padecimientos más frecuentes y trascendentes del ejercicio médico del primer nivel de atención. La importancia de los mapas conceptuales radica en que tienen como propósito generar y comunicar ideas, por tanto, para los estudiantes que ya han aprendido las materias básicas del funcionamiento humano (anatomía, fisiología, histología y bioquímica, entre otras) es necesario contar con información de forma rápida y global, acerca de cómo dejan de funcionar las estructuras orgánicas. Dichos mapas les permiten además diseñar una estructura compleja y contribuir al aprendizaje integrando de manera explícita conocimientos nuevos y antiguos, evaluar la comprensión de los temas, explorar el conocimiento previo y los errores de concepto, con la finalidad de lograr el éxito. Esta obra es un instrumento que no puede faltar en el acervo de los estudiantes de medicina y carreras relacionadas.
